  After a couple of failed attempts by a technician from Weiss-Johnson to repair error code 438-01 on my Navien tankless water heater, the unit failed again within 24 hours of being reset. With temperatures at an extreme -30°C and my furnace blowing cold air, I was desperately searching for an urgent solution. I called several companies but was unable to find anyone available for after-hours service. Always Plumbing & Heating was the only company that could arrange an after-hours technician for me. If I remember correctly, Wendy answered my call and was incredibly helpful. She scheduled a technician for around 9 PM, Hasan arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He provided a quote immediately. The next morning, I confirmed the quote with the call center, and by that same evening, another technician, Prince, was at my home replacing the necessary parts. My Navien unit was up and running again. The entire process was smooth and professional, with clear communication, confirmation emails, and timely updates about technician arrival. I truly appreciate the prompt and efficient service, especially during such extreme weather conditions. Highly recommended!

  Thank you for the prompt response. My furnace was repaired and is operating fine. The reason for a three star review was due to the findings I found after my tech had left and been paid. A few items were found somewhat out of place, strangely they were not near any of the work areas. One item was a African staff gifted to me years ago and the second was a new replacement LED bulb for my TV in the basement. I get it, sometimes people make mistakes, but own up to it. The bulb was 200.00 when I purchased it years ago and probably cant be replaced. Please be mind full of the work space and the property you are working around.

  We wished to upgrade to a new kitchen sink. After contacting a few companies for assistance on measurement and quotes, we selected Always Plumbing and Heating. They were not the cheapest but seemed to provide the best upfront information. We purchased our new sink and faucet thinking the install would go smoothly. Cleve arrived within the allotted timeframe and set to work. The removal of the old sink (over 40 yrs in place) went quickly. It wasn't until the new sink was tested to see if it fit the hole that we discovered that there were protrusions under the lip of the sink that caused a great deal of finesse enlarging the hole to allow it to fit. Hence I strongly recommend checking the mounting and under the lip prior to purchasing a sink, ours was a Blanco Vision 210. Nonetheless Cleve tackled the challenge. It took a fair bit longer than he had anticipated but he didn't give up. Once the sink was finally set in place into the counter the under plumbing took very little time. We now have a new sink and faucet and are extremely pleased with the service.

  When we showered, we were running out of hot water halfway through our shower. On Feb 12th we did a Google search and went to Always Plumbing & Heating’s webpage and left a message. Wendy from their office promptly called me back that afternoon and arranged to have a plumber come out to our house the following day to evaluate the problem. We were provided with a quote to replace the dip tube and Hasan came out the next day to replace it. When the braided connector was screwed back on it began to leak. Hasan showed me the leak and explained the pros and cons of braided lines vs. copper lines. Considering our hot water tank was already 6 years old and now we needed an additional service call to replace the braided connectors, I asked for a quote for a new hot water tank with copper connectors, and I decided to replace the tank instead of replacing parts. I asked that they ensure that they provide us with a superior brand of hot water tank (ours was not) and they will be here in a few days to install it at which time they will remove the old tank and will haul it away for us. Hasan also gave me pointers on how to maintain a hot water tank to increase its lifespan. We appreciate the excellent service thus far and thank Hasan for educating us.

  On the 1st visit, I was told the lack of hot water was due to dust buildup. The dust was cleaned and I was charged $267. After that, even with the shower turned to maximum, the water was only lukewarm. One week later, another technician came and advised that three issues required repair, with a cost of over $1,400 before tax, or the unit could be replaced. I was also informed that if no work was done, there would be a service fee of $500–$600 for that visit. During a phone call to discuss pricing, the replacement quote increased by approximately $200. The unit was eventually replaced. The installation technician was professional and completed the work well. As a result, I lost one week and ended up paying nearly $200 more than the original quoted price. I was also unexpectedly faced with a $500–$600 service fee for the second visit. Overall, this was not a good experience.
