  Our home was built in 2008, and moved in as the 3rd owners in 2018. The previous owner(s) must have had a large dog, as the hardwood floors were so scratch, but I chose to put money into a garage...have wanted to redo the floors since...it was finally time. We started the process after Thanksgiving 2025 and it started with West Valley Flooring because of amazing Google reviews for this business and in particular the sales rep- Ryan. We went into the store, specifically asking for Ryan and thankfully he was working. He was patient, informative, and 'not a typical sales person'!!!! Normally, I research 3-5 businesses, but this time we went to 1 additional store and decided to go straight back with Ryan at West Valley. He worked with us on our timing and kept us in the loop (mostly) the whole process. The installers though were top notch- Sunny and his team were extremely skilled, polite, professional, clean. We had such a fabulous experience (so far). We went with the glue down product on a mat and this by far was a great choice for us. We have no hesitancy to use them again!

  Thank you Ryan for the awesome job doing our floors at Annabelles kitchen in marda loop. Feels like a brand new restaurant. Can't wait to host you and the wife sometime soon!

  We had a great experience with Westvalley Carpet & Flooring. Ryan was fantastic to work with and helped us find flooring solutions for our new home in Priddis that fit our budget without compromising on quality. We went with the Rhino carpet and it has been absolutely worth the money—after a red wine spill, it came out with no problem at all, which truly impressed us. The installation was professional and well done, and when there was a minor miscommunication, they came back and fixed it at no charge. That level of service was really appreciated and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend Westvalley Carpet & Flooring to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service.

  Had a wonderful experience here. We bought a house and got new floors through out. Ryan was great to deal with. We had no idea about floors and he helped us the while way through finding us the perfect product for us and also saving us some money. All said and done there were no hidden cost everything we had talked about got done. And he went out of his way to make it as smooth as possiable gave him the key to the house and he just handled everything making it really easy for us. Thanks again Ryan. And as for the install Simon and son's knocked it out of the park keeping us posted the whole way through the craftsmanship was tip notch and we are more then happy with how everything turned out. Thank you all for a incredible experience.

  Stay away from this place. We hired them to install flooring in our basement and on our stairs, choosing their top-tier vinyl planks. We also requested an extra box of planks as backup for future repairs. The estimator miscounted and under-ordered by several boxes, which delayed the project by several weeks. We were required to make an additional payment for the extra materials, were only offered a minimal discount for the mistake, and ultimately never received the extra box we requested. Regarding the stairs, we were originally told that the installers would remove the existing rounded nosing so the new square-profile treads could be securely fastened. During installation, I noticed this was not being done. When I called to ask about it, I was brushed off with, “Our installers know what they’re doing—it will be fine.” It was not fine. Every tread squeaks and shifts noticeably when stepped on, especially near the edges. They also refused to install the final tread between the main floor tile and the first step, claiming we needed to purchase a separate tile nosing because “they don’t do that.” This left me to cut the tile myself and install the final tread—ironically, the only one that has no issues. I was also left to finish the cap on the stringer on my own. The flooring was advertised as coming with both product and installation warranties. This turned out to be false. A plank on the landing has since cracked along the seam between it and the nosing. The nosing was poorly glued, and the adjacent cracked plank wasn’t glued at all, leaving a hollow pocket beneath it. Stepping on it puts direct pressure on the seam, causing the crack. The broken edge is sharp and poses a safety hazard, especially for children walking barefoot. When I reached out for warranty service, the salesperson came to inspect the damage and said he would follow up—but never did. After I contacted him again days later, he informed me that this was not a warranty issue, stating that “all flooring is susceptible to damage” and that he had “seen this type of damage occur with many types of flooring.” He told me the only solution was for me to pay for more product and the repair work. Wanting the issue resolved for safety reasons, I agreed and asked for a quote. I never heard back, even after following up again.
