We had a freezing up issue with our existing intake/exhaust furnace pipe which another Calgary company failed woefully at fixing. Thanks to Brian Ayotte, Jake Smith and the another Harmony team member who properly assessed the problem and fixed the problem. I am thankful for the professionalism, and straightforward honesty of what this job entailed. Sorry for the late review, I just wanted to make sure the freezing pipe issue was fixed and had to wait until we had some cooler weather. Your Parkland friends.

I am late in sharing this review. So I first want to comment on the purchase and installation of 2 new furnaces.
It began with Mike (if I can remember correctly) the sales rep. He realized extra care was needed in this job. He requested Tony to come to my house for a consult because the space for installation was VERY limited. It was because of this extra effort and care that they made in selecting the furnace and planning the installation that I was confident that Harmony was the right company to use. I want to note that I got three quotes and Harmony wasn't the cheapest but neither of the other two companies left me feeling as sure that I was making the best choice.
When it came to installation Tyler and his team were AMAZING. Tyler in particular, as he was on the job the longest took exceptional care in creating an efficient space for me to use. The space where my furnaces sit is also where I have a water softener and heater and keep hats, and gloves, etc. I am in that space a lot.
That was not the case from the installation of my previous two furnaces (Sears) 10+ years ago. In fact the crazy configuration of pipes coming out of my chimney was so outrageous that it was saved and became a "trophy" of the weirdest workmanship in all history.
Today Colton had to came to make a minor revision on a pipe. He was awesome as are all the front desk staff. Haley I'm referring to you in particular. Words that come to mind of his workmanship are punctual, considerate, patient (I am still learning how to use the Ecco thermostat optimally) and effective.
Bottom line. I highly recommend Harmony and have already done so for friends needing a furnace. And no I wasn't paid to write this review.

I had my house built in 2005 with an underpowered HRV unit. After an incident with mold buildup in one my bathrooms and an inability to purchase a replacement core (unit is no longer manufactured), I finally decided to replace it. In December of 2025, I got 3 quotes and literally got a Goldilocks and the 3 bears set of responses. The first was way too high (as in double the other 2), the second was a little less expensive, but with another underpowered unit and the third was just right.
I had to wait about 3 weeks for the unit to arrive. However, it did arrive and the installers came on Dec. 31. We had 2 technicians: Kyle and Sean (I think). Both did excellent jobs. Sean was especially flexible on issues around placing the master unit. The unit was shipped without a backboard and did not fit over a standard electrical outlet. As a result, the installation looked horrible We went back and forth over the main floor and master bedroom for placement. Fortunately, we were able to locate a backboard later in the day.
I finally settled on the master bathroom. I kind of figured that I wanted a better handle on how the unit was operating in operating conditions rather than placing it in a more neutral area (main floor bathroom).
Kyle was a rock star. He installed the unit, reset the location closer to the wall, fixed a baffler that hasn't worked in 15 years and readjusted the ducting (there were quite a few turns from the builder that was causing restricted airflow).
After a few days, it is working as I was hoping. The HRV is circulating the air properly with no draughts or stale air (that was as before). However, now the excess humidity from the bathrooms is now being removed within about 20-30 minutes (when turned on high). This is a very noticeable improvement.

We are very happy with the service we have received from Harmony Heating. Our furnace broke down on the coldest days of the year and Daniel from Harmony came over, did a quote and had our new furnace installed the next day. Daniel was very professional and didn't quote us a furnace we didn't need. He even walked through how the install would go. We highly recommend Harmony Heating!
