  Exceptional service! Mohamed and his partner Daryl came even on Saturday just to finish installing our Tankless water heater. Ian the sales guy gave us advice and a good deal. Thumbs up guys!

  Hi we are johnny and Jackie from airdrie our furnace died and reached out to comfort union for a replacement the staff there was extremely polite starting with Ian who went over all the details and was true his word the technicians they sent Mohamed and Darryl were very professional and Mohammed stayed extra hours to make sure everything was right good job and much appreciated

  I had Comfort Union come out for some plumbing and furnace work and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Everything was done properly and you can tell they take pride in their work. They were easy to deal with from the start, showed up on time, and didn’t drag things out. The team was friendly and did their job well. I'd definitely recommend and consider using them again.

  *** AVOID - RED FLAGS A PLENTY *** These guys lost all confidence based on the person who answered the phone. I was asking about the pricing on their website for a Navien combi-boiler, and commented that they seem very reasonable based on other websites. The guy who answered immediately went into a non stop, 1000 mile per hour rant about pricing and how the website was years old and that IT was supposed to update it, and that pricing is off. But his pricing is best because of volume discounts and this and that and cant price out just the base unit and the starting install ... just SHUT UP man. When asked what the prices were, he mysteriously was not able to produce a single fact based number, and instead went into another rant on approximates, saying an install is minimum $12,000 (website lists units at ~$5,000 installation included, which I know can go up based on complexity). When asked different in unit pricing he was saying "like, prices, like, they are all around the same, units will be minimum of $12k, I seen $15k installs".... Just ON and ON about absolutely NOTHING of value. Now, when I go to the website today, there is areas like "Navien (2026) Models"... and the other area still exists with the pricing, all their HVAC licenses are updated with recent dates... everything on the website is completely updated to very recent content. However, all the prices of the Navien units I was looking at yesterday are now listed at a standard $7,400 starting price. So what is it... the website doesn't have accurate pricing because you can't update it because IT is so slow? Or you're a sleazy salesman who thinks your slick because you talk fast? Instant red flags. I physically shuddered after hanging up the call. Call was placed on March 17 at approximately 2pm if management wanted to investigate who caused such a bitter taste in my mouth about this company. He told me Ian (their estimator) would call me back. Waiting for his call, but highly, HIGHLY doubt their is anything he could do to salvage this relationship.

  Our furnace stopped working right in the middle of February when it was freezing, so we called Comfort Union right away. They actually came the same evening on short notice which was a huge help honestly. They were pretty upfront about everything from the start. Our furnace was around 13 years old, so not super old, but it had a lot of issues… bad install from before, rust buildup, the motor was squeaking, and it just wasn’t maintained properly. We had already spent money on it before (control board like 2 years ago) and then more issues kept coming up, so it didn’t feel worth it anymore to keep fixing something out of warranty. We ended up going with their recommendation and replaced it. We got a Carrier furnace, and also replaced our old water heater with a Bradford White since that one was like 17 years old anyway. They also took care of the chimney liner stuff so everything got done at once which made it easier. The biggest thing for us was the warranty. We got like 14 years coverage through Comfort Union which honestly was a big reason we moved forward. It just feels nice not having to worry about random breakdowns or extra costs later. Didn’t feel like there was any catch or anything. Overall everything went pretty smooth. No complaints really. Happy with how it turned out and would def recommend them to friends and family.
