I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Randy and Cindy were a pleasure to deal with. I was in a hurry for something for my business (Louisville Stump Removal) and Randy was able to get me back up and working within a couple hours! A small business that actually answers their phone and does great work is a real gem! Steve Baralt.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem — the kind of service shop I thought had disappeared. I rarely write reviews this enthusiastically, but Cardinal Electronics deserves every bit of the praise. I worked for a high-end A/V retailer back in the early 2000s, and over the years I’ve owned quite a bit of higher-end audio equipment. One of the biggest challenges today is simply finding a local technician with the experience and willingness to diagnose and repair this kind of gear — especially older, high-quality components that are absolutely worth saving. Over the past year, both my Krell AV300i integrated amplifier and Classe Audio Model Ten power amplifier stopped working. I brought both to Cardinal Electronics hoping Randy might be able to bring them back to life. He did. Both of them. And I honestly could not be happier with the entire experience. Randy evaluated both pieces for about half of what I’m accustomed to paying just for diagnostic work, and then actually repaired them for what I can only describe as a crazy-low price considering the equipment and work involved. Both amplifiers are now back home and running again. Just as impressive as Randy’s technical ability is the way he and his wife, Cindy, run their business. They have built the kind of service shop I thought had largely disappeared: polite, responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and extremely fair. I was also in the middle of a move and ended up taking much longer than I expected to get back and pick up my equipment. Randy simply held onto everything until I could make it in. No pressure, no hassle, and no attempt to sell me something else. No gimmicks. No upselling. Just fast, effective, reasonably priced service from genuinely nice people who clearly take pride in what they do. I live about 45 minutes from Cardinal Electronics, and after this experience, I would gladly drive two or three times that far to have Randy work on my equipment. I already have additional A/V gear that needs attention, and there is no question where it will be going. Cardinal Electronics has earned my business exclusively going forward. If you have quality electronics that you think may be beyond saving, do yourself a favor and take them to Randy before giving up on them. Randy and Cindy — thank you. Businesses like yours are increasingly hard to find, and I’m very glad I found this one. Could not recommend Cardinal Electronics more highly.

Amazing service with exceptional prices for the amount of time and effort he puts in to fix what you bring in. Randy has tons of knowledge and is a very polite person. My 2002 Sansui tv/vhs combo was fixed after its speaker went bad and the screen had a spot on it. It took less than a week to get fixed. I will definitely be recommending Cardinal Electronics in Fairdale to my friends and family. Randy has my business from now on. Thank you Randy and Cindy.

Great service! We dropped our TV off and less than a week later it was ready to be picked up! Communication was great, we were called throughout the week with updates and repair options. Very reasonably priced and efficient. Definitely recommend.
