I had a horrible experience with this company. I brought my 2024 Macbook Air in on June 17, 2026 and today, as I'm writing this, is August 12, 2026. That's almost two months. I am $250 down and my laptop is exactly the same as before I brought it in - still failing. The amount includes a non-refundable $100 diagnostic fee, which is fine by me. But it isn't about the money, but the integrity behind it. Kevin's guarantee is if it's not fixed as we agreed, I wouldn't have to pay.
My 2024 laptop has a "pink screen" problem. Kevin diagnosed and told me the CPU was failing and he'd first try the reflow and repaste route. I agreed to have him do it. Turned out that didn't fix it. He then suggested to hand over to his friend, Tony. Tony works from home and doesn't want to meet anyone outside of Kevin. That should have been a red flag, but I didn't care because as long as you can fix my laptop, that's all that matters. Kevin assured me that Tony is reputable. Now I know he's anything but.
Between these two guys, it takes a long time, very inefficient. Most of the time I have to be the proactive one reaching out to find out the status of the repair. Not exactly top notch customer service.
Two things that bother me.
1. Kevin doesn't honor his own words. When I met him at a MacDonald's near his home, I brought up the camera problem and asked him that if his friend were to replace the CPU, would it fix the camera problem too? He confidently said yes because the CPU affects the camera. He even assured me that if the problem is not fixed, I wouldn't have to pay.
When I received the laptop back from Tony, nothing changed. The pink screen and the camera issue are still there. When I confronted Kevin about it and asked for a refund, he refused.
2. Tony offered to sell me a similar used MacBook for cheap, at his cost. He said it would be between $200-300. I still have his texts from Kevin. But when I received the email from him with the prices, they're much higher. I replied and reminded him about his promise. He danced around the issue, gave some BS reason, and never really addressed my objection. He said he would get more laptops and let me know. Never heard from him. I sent one last follow up email. Crickets.
I've had enough of their runarounds and lies. I would steer clear from this place. Bad business practices.
