- LOLauren ODec 26, 20251.0Geek Squad is a terrible rip off. I called them to install a mesh wifi system and the lady on the phone suggested I buy the membership to save 50% off of a $200 visit. So I did. They came and were not able to install the mesh wifi system. I tried to use them again for another service and waiting in store for them to tell me they were unable to get me an appointment. Now they tell me that I can't cancel my membership without being charged a $300 cancellation fee. Do not purchase a geek squad membership.
- LGLucy GillOct 30, 20251.0I would give this location 0 stars if I could. I went in because my hard drive wasn’t loading, which I bought at that Best Buy. They advised me to buy a new hard drive, a converter, and do a data transfer. Together they cost $300. I waited 2 days for the data transfer to complete. When I came to collect both hard drives, the new one only shows PARTIALLY what I have in the original hard drive. No one did a sanity check?! Finally the employee and manger had horrible attitudes and told me it’s my problem, and said they can refund but need to charge me a “diagnosis fee” when nothing worked and their advice was BS. It was a complete waste of time and avoid at ALL cost.
