- GJgoddard JoshAug 28, 20241.0DO NOT. Let them install parts if you are trying to get a PC built, just learn how to do it yourself. I trusted them when I didn't know how to and they ended up doing really crappy things like taking shortcuts, super messy wires, and they didn't even take the plastic cover off of my GPU when they installed it, they don't know what they are doing and they charge way too much. Thank god my buddy showed me how to build my PC cause when I took parts from my old PC I was able to see just how wrong it was done by geek squad.
- DADani AntonyJun 5, 20231.0At the time I took the protection plan nothing was explained to me about the service fee. Now for a device which cost 600 cad market price as of now.. I paid almost 2 years monthly protection payments. And now i have to pay a service fee of 226 cad.. That totals to the cost of device. Geek squad protection plan is the worst scam going on in Canada

They were not willing to do anything about it and told me to file a new claim. Impossible to speak with anyone live and their online agents do not provide any sort of customer service. I will never buy a warranty through them again.
