- FAFatih A.Oct 19, 20211.0Do not waste your money on Geek Squad unless the value of your item is more than $2.000. I used to have this feature for my laptops. One of them broke for the first time since 2019. I dropped it off for repairs, 2 weeks later the response is “ it is too costly to repair “ it also states on the work order that “customer denied repair” which I have not.! They have given me the amount of my laptop but over 1 year, I almost paid the equal amount of that money to Geek Squad anyways :) I spoke to couple of managers at Best Buy and they also agreed that it doesn’t make sense to get Geek Squad insurance. I can’t get my laptop back which I could easily get it fixed for $200.. Little disappointed but ohh well, I guess it is what it is. No more Geek Squad for this guy.

Everyone do yourself a favour do not get yourself a headache in dealing with these terrible individuals that call themselves professionals. They charge you for home assessment and they don't even have anyone who can actually do the job that you need done. Yet the product is from best buy and services/installation by geek squad. Whole management and staff needs to be replaced
