    Best Buy Canada Geek Squad (Kanata): WORST customer service EVER!!! * We bought a new freezer in July 2023 from them after The Brick Pembroke sold one right out from under us. (Another place for Shitty customer service) *Suddenly this past September it quit and we lost all our freezer food, over $300 worth. We thought our kids had left it open but after a week or so we discovered it was the freezer itself not working. *We bought the extended warranty so we called geek squad in October. * A technician showed up the 22nd of November. He informed us that it needed a new compressor and he would get geek squad to order one. *After contacting him the 9th of December, he was told from geek squad, the compressor was ordered and would be delivered the 28th of December. *On Dec 30th we contacted the technician again to be told it hadn't arrived and Best Buy Geek Squad had not responded to his previous inquiry either. *We called Geek squad back on Jan 6th and after 2 hours on the phone fighting about their own policies, none of us, including the technician, were told the part was on back order. *We got screwed! We we're told we could wait indefinitely for the part, with no date predicted or take a replacement freezer, loosing all remaining (6 mths) extended warrantee, also with no reimbursement of payment for it. *On Jan 9th we received an email saying Kanata Best Buy would call us in 5 to 7 business days. *Called geek squad again today...and have been told it will escalate the request higher and we should receive something in 1 to 2 business days...not sure what we're receiving then but stay tuned for more shitty service! *Can anyone explain to us why it takes going on 4 months to get warrantee service on a freezer that was paid for??? Or why we were told there would be a delivery on Dec 28th, if the part was on back order??? ***Do NOT bother to buy any extended warranty for appliances at Best Buy, in our case Kanata, as it has proven to be extraordinarily Frustrating and aggravating. Not to mention still no freezer to use, no compensation for all the lost food, which as everyone knows is insanely expensive these days. Let's not forget the unexpected expenses before Christmas is great too. Good times! Thanks Best Buy Kanata and Geek Squad for your TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

    As a senior I appreciate not being talked down to. I got excellent service, my questions were answered, time was taken to find me the best deal, and all in all my experience was five star positive.

    I had a terrible experience because your employee didn't know you don't repair MSI laptops. Wasted my one week. When I took my laptop back there were several new scratches and lot of dirt and dust on it plus the part with the keyboard on it wasn't clipped properly.
