    I had a very disappointing experience with the Geek Squad service at Best Buy. Their customer service was extremely poor, and the staff did not communicate respectfully. I went in to get my laptop screen replaced. They kept my laptop for almost 20 days, which was already very inconvenient. After that long wait, they charged me $400 for the screen replacement and also charged additional money related to the battery backup. The frustrating part is that later they told me that the battery backup issue was not fixed, yet they still charged me technician fees from that amount. This makes no sense and feels unfair. In total, I was charged around $500, and the problem was still not properly resolved. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Geek Squad at Best Buy based on my experience, and I would rate this service 0/5.

    Geek squad is effective only when you go into the store and make the appointment. Never over the phone. At any rate the HOME THEATRE INSTALLATION SPECIALISTS SCOTT and DARON were phenomenal; professional, enthusiastic, patient. They answered all my questions and they took the time to make and everything worked properly. Any further hone repairs, Scott and Daron are the men to go to.

    I bought a great tv from Best Buy in Burlington Ontario. I chose to have Geek Squad to set it up because the new building has so complicated issues. Anyway 2 wonderful men Mitch and Duran delivered my TV and hooked it up and showed me some new stuff that I was entitled to but didn’t know about. It was a great experience meeting these 2 smart men thank you . Marnie

    The Geek Squad could not match a 2017 Dell CPU I dropped off with the correct replacement power supply. They installed a new one and then called me, stating the USB ports don’t work for some reason and the DVD drive on the computer won’t work either because the power supply doesn’t have a compatible connection. So we cancelled the repair service. Then they tried to charge an additional $40 on top of the $55 diagnosis fee for installing/uninstalling a part that didn’t even work properly. LOL! Huh!? This all ended up being a huge waste of time…

    I had to give one star because you can't give zero stars. If you enjoy dealing with totally unempathetic propeller heads then step right up. Paid for a service call and then told over the phone the same day as the appt. they can't help. Wasted the day waiting for them to arrive and then had to battle Mr. Bryan for my refund. Just a bunch of belligerent twits.
