The worst Absolute worst when it comes to warranty / chatting online or on the phone
Do not buy the extra warranty on anything !after spending hours and hours talking to different geek squad people on the phone and in person nobody wants to help or they gave me misinformation over a period of 5-7 days different story one asked for my visa number another referred me back to the store for help.. another told me to wait
2 other people gave me different reference numbers and no one’s knows anything when I call back
I bought a phone and bought the extra $20 a month warranty, I should have gone with Apple care
Geek Squad gives you the run around over and over again! I give up!
I rarely give bad reviews’ but this is needed 100%

The Geek squad service is an utter joke. You have incompetent peple who can barely speak english who continually fail to communicate to the customer what is going on with their service request on warranty items purchased from BestBuy. Run away from Best Buy and their band of idiots running the warranty service.

Took my 2 year old laptop in because it suddenly stopped charging. The tech brought out a different charger, plugged it in and pronounced it a problem with the computer. It would cost $100 and 1.5 weeks to ship it out and find out what the problem was with no guarantees. He was also quick to try to upsell me to a new computer. I decided to purchase a new laptop elsewhere. Same brand. I plugged in the charger from the new laptop into my old one and it charged perfectly. Turns out it was the charger after all.
