  Purchased a Canon ImageCLASS MF743Cdw color laser printer at a thrift store. Before the purchase, it was plugged in and turned on as it appeared to be working. Took it home and found that it needed new Toner Cartridges. So I get some generic Toner Cartridges from a big name store. The Printer will not work as it indicates that the new cartridges are counterfeit. Try everything to get the printer to work. Take the printer to GN Services for Ruiz to look at. He checks it over and tells me that the Toner Cartridges are bad. I tell him that I just bought them from a big name store. He says that they are bad and they need replacing. So I return those generic Toner Cartridges and get new ones from a reputable ink/toner supply online store. Insert the newer Toner Cartridges and it works. Just printed out 400 pages (on 2-sided sheets) of the User Manual for the Canon ImageCLASS MF743Cdw. Thanks Ruiz.
