If I had a choice, I would not even give geek squat Best Buy one star review. It should be a zero! My PS5 stopped working so I reached out to their geek squad to ask a question about it. The agent on the phone asked me for a membership ID. I said I don’t have one then he asked me for my phone number and name, I refused. I asked him what would be the reason for me to give you this information when I’m calling to ask a simple question? He replied, that he needs the info to create a ticket number. What freaking ticket #?, for what? What happened to good old days when you just pick up the phone call and ask a simple question where you receive an answer within seconds. I explained to the agent that I don’t like to give out my phone number and my name because of all the scam phone calls going around. He replied, well, then I can’t help you. If you ask me, that’s a pretty dumb idea, this is not how you run a business, you should be able to just answer a question without going through all that. I asked the agent why he was being so difficult? He replied that if I can’t provide him with my name and number he won’t help me. I said OK, I will give you a fake name and a fake number (which I could have) and he hung up on me. The whole conversation he was challenging me, and all I wanted is to ask a simple question. It was unnecessary to be so hostile, unfriendly and rude. The customer service at geek squad is horrendous, and un personable.
What’s interesting? Is we are planning to renovate our kitchen in the next couple of months and guess what? I was going to go and buy all my kitchen appliances at Best Buy, not anymore. I will make sure from now on when I speak to anyone to always mention why people should “NOT” do business with Best Buy. After the agent hung up on me, I went online and found a local store in Victoria BC called Hometech Games Plus who were eager to help me! The customer service was exceptional, they are every knowledgeable team! The people running that store sure know their thing. I highly, highly recommend them for all of your electronics, not to mention all the cool gaming stuff they have in the store :)

The online and 1800 number are unable to provide any useful support other than walk into the store. that is really not an option, so I'm stuck without any help!! As soon as I figure something else out...I will no longer using your services.

Absolutely terrible experience. I paid for a huge extended warranty and when i needed a TINY bit of help they refused.
