- PPPresident PlazaNov 4, 20251.0I brought my laptop computer from Best Buy and paid 99+tax for Geek to install a microsoft office / home 2024 software card. I through it may only takes 30 minutes to complete but I was asked to come to pick up the next day. And now I found I can't do drag and copy & paste. I tried to call but they only offer me a pay services. I am going to bring my computer to the service desk again to check with them what had happened? Is the issue related to an incomplete download?
- BPBird PeaceDec 14, 20201.0If there were a zero star rating that's what I would place it at. The employee was not helpful at all! And VERY MISLEADING!! I went in there hoping to get my laptop fixed which I now know just had a problem with the new OS windows update that went wrong. I went in to just see if they could get my files and when the employee checked he told me my hard drive was dying and all my files are just gone! This was ridiculous! I went and got it checked somewhere else and they recovered my files literally two days and I have everything now and there was nothing wrong with my hard drive in the first place! This geek squad almost scammed me! I do not recommend this at all! NEVER GO HERE!
- PAPablo ABDec 2, 20201.0I went yesterday to Geek Squad to get my laptop fixed because it wasn't booting up. I had to stand there idly waiting for somebody to show up and help me, then when somebody finally realized they had a customer this old grumpy guy told me that I should just leave the laptop on and that it would fix itself, he didn't even bother to inspect it or lift it up and check it. The guy was so lazy, cocky and just unwilling to help. Today my laptop is still on just showing the manufacturer logo and its not booting up but I'm sure as hell not going back to Geek Squad. Terrible customer service. Grumpy old guy.
