However, when I got it back, I discovered that my original 1TB SSD had been swapped out for a 128GB HDD without my consent. This is completely unacceptable. Geek Squad contracts third-party technicians for their repairs, and whoever worked on my laptop either made a critical mistake or deliberately swapped my drive. This kind of practice damages their reputation and betrays customer trust. If you’re considering purchasing Geek Squad protection, think twice. Based on my experience, I would never trust them with any electronic product again. She lives in a retirement place that requires proff of vaccines for COVID to enter the tech did not have a proff.upon inquiring and hoping to send someone out that did she was told that they will not enter the building as they did not want to get vaccines .she did not receive a refund .
