- MPMatthew PitcherDec 20, 20202.0I brought in a 2012 Mac Book Pro that was stuck attempting to install a newer OS, which was not compatible with my Mac Book. It was not allowing me to exit the install wizard. Before contacting the apple store, I visited this location for support from Geek Squad. The Clerk was not polite, and had their back turned away from me 80% of the time to talk with their coworker. Once they booted up my computer to review the computer's issue, without running *any* diagnostics whatsoever, they told me it would cost $190.00 to repair. They explained my computer was too old to use the OS I had attempted to install. I asked him if he thought it was worth the repair, and he suggested I buy a new Mac (Which by the way cost at least $1,100 CAD). I contacted the apple store, and they brought me into the Genius Bar. They repaired my computer to the newest software available for my computer and now it works great.
