- ADAngela DewittFeb 3, 20261.0Great example of what happens when the government is involved. Now you get an 800 number to contact for a person out of state and when you finally speak to them and get the correct local post office phone number ( not the incorrect one you get when searching) Then when you call the local number someone sets the phone down on counter without answering and you call back repeatedly until someone finally answers after 4 calls just to try and get a package they can't deliver. This is why the postal service is going bankrupt
