In one particular incident, an envelope which happened to be a check was open along the seams and was very carefully taped back together. I still have this particular envelope . The check was canceled and reissued due to it arriving extremely late. I am aware that some envelopes/packages become ripped by machines. However, no machine ripped this envelope perfectly along the seams. The carrier often takes packages back to the post office even when I'm standing outside.
