- DHDenise HauptSep 18, 20251.0I rarely post reviews, especially negative ones, but my interaction with a lady at this post office this morning was less than ideal. I lost my Aunt a couple of months ago and I was appointed Personal Representative of her estate which gives me the authority to take care of all her affairs including having her mail forwarded. Now before I went in to complete this request, I went to the usps website where it told me what documents I needed to bring with me and I had every single one along. I really did not think this was going to be a big deal but from the moment I walked up the lady acted like I had no authority to be able to do this, very snotty manner, made me feel like I was trying to commit a crime when all I wanted to do was have her mail forwarded. Also had the nerve to talk to me like I had no idea what I was doing...I was met with a "hm she died two months ago and you are now just taking care of this?" Now i dont expect pity but an ounce of compassion goes a long way and I kind of snapped and told her " its fine, we have still been picking up her mail, i dont need your lecture and proceeded to tell her to lose the attitude. She must've felt that because then she was slightly more polite. Again, i dont like posting negatives and I very very rarely lose my cool on service people because I am in the service industry as well but please do better and dont make people feel guilty for coming in to do what I thought was going to be a mundane simple task.

- TDTeonna DowellJul 1, 20161.0If less than one star was an option I'd use that rating. Received an insulting typed note from our "regular mail carrier" today. She/he is trying to blame my family for mail defacement after we returned wrongly delivered letters to sender in the proper format. It is very unprofessional(potentially illegal) to leave unaddressed notes in someone's mailbox expressing your personal opinion because you knew the previous home owners a little too well! I am disheartened to know my family will be living in this beautiful home for many years to come while having to deal with a postal facility like this.
