The lady that was working behind the counter is extremely rude. Definitely can tell she hates her job.

So over priced just for the smallest package ever I had to pay 12 to get a cassette tape shipped to a friend that lives only 2 hours from this place 😮‍💨

I rarely post reviews, especially negative ones, but my interaction with a lady at this post office this morning was less than ideal. I lost my Aunt a couple of months ago and I was appointed Personal Representative of her estate which gives me the authority to take care of all her affairs including having her mail forwarded. Now before I went in to complete this request, I went to the usps website where it told me what documents I needed to bring with me and I had every single one along. I really did not think this was going to be a big deal but from the moment I walked up the lady acted like I had no authority to be able to do this, very snotty manner, made me feel like I was trying to commit a crime when all I wanted to do was have her mail forwarded. Also had the nerve to talk to me like I had no idea what I was doing...I was met with a "hm she died two months ago and you are now just taking care of this?" Now i dont expect pity but an ounce of compassion goes a long way and I kind of snapped and told her " its fine, we have still been picking up her mail, i dont need your lecture and proceeded to tell her to lose the attitude. She must've felt that because then she was slightly more polite. Again, i dont like posting negatives and I very very rarely lose my cool on service people because I am in the service industry as well but please do better and dont make people feel guilty for coming in to do what I thought was going to be a mundane simple task.
