I did not receive the usual payment envelope or the typical two to three reminder notices placed in my box, which employees at nearby post offices confirmed is standard procedure. When I raised the issue, the postmaster, Kathy, was rude and unprofessional, shifting the blame onto me instead of taking responsibility. She also gave conflicting explanations. At first, she said she wouldn’t single me out, but later she said it was all my fault and my responsibility. I have relied on the envelope for many years, using it to write a check and then send the envelope in. I’m not the only one who finds her rude — my family has experienced her rudeness as well.
