Nice people here in Stoughton, but USPS service is severely lacking. Paid over $120.00 for 3-day Priority Mail of perishable Christmas food gifts, mailed the 1st week of December. At drop off, the postal worker insisted each package would arrive within 3-day, especially for the Minnesota packages, only being a neighboring state. 4 of 7 packages took 3 weeks to arrive to their destinations, yes THREE WEEKS - all Minnesota addresses - a neighboring state. All 4 package contents spoiled after sitting in USPS warehouse in St. Paul, MN for 3 weeks. I spoke with a Stoughton postal worker in person and he said the only thing that could be done is to file a complaint online. Now this is where it gets good. I filed a claim on all 4 packages providing screenshots of receipts and tracking numbers for the 4 delayed packages. I receive 4 separate mailings from the postal service from St. Louis, Missouri indicating my claims could not be processed unless I provided physical proof of he contents of each of the 4 boxes. So let me get this straight, you want me to ask the 4 families I sent the packages to, to mail the spoiled / moldy contents back to me, at their expense (probably $10 or more per package), so that I can take an extremely noxious spoiled food into the post office for "proof". You are out of your minds? Hey USPS - if you can't provide a 3-day service "because of COVID" (Just like everyone else says these days). Then stop providing the service. Or, at least refund our money when we can include PROOF of the tracking numbers showing several week delays. The USPS is not providing the service that is paid top dollar for. Don't make the customer the problem. And people want the government to manage our health care. Has the country lost its mind? Absolutely.A long standing family tradition is over thanks to a incompetent government ran organization.

Every time I have used the Stoughton Post Office I’ve had a pleasant experience. The employees were nice as well as knowledgeable and supplies (various size boxes used for my home business) have been available.

I received a prompt response to a request I submitted online regarding a delayed delivery. Thank you to the USPS staff who do such a great job everyday supporting our community.
