I have never been disappointed by the excellent service at the counter at our local Post Office. I was surprised to read the comments other than mine saying they were treated rudely or complained of poor service. If you've ever lived in a foreign country or even visited, you might appreciate how wonderful our Post Office and postal services are. The people at our Post Office have been exceptionally nice helpful and I really appreciate the excellent care I've received consistently.

Zero communication between the front clerks as well as between carriers. I put in a forward as I moved across Sheboygan. All of my mail is STILL being sent to my old address, and the carrier is returning to sender. I have talked to the carrier and clerks about this and ask that my mail to my old address is given to the carrier for the new address and route. Its not that difficult. I did this regularly as a carrier in Milwaukee. The Sheboygan office is lazy and disorganized. All of my Christmas cards were never delivered to me which is super disappointing for me and the various senders. Do better in 2026.

If zero stars were an option, that’s exactly what they’d get. I’m beyond fed up. Every time I have multiple packages arriving on the same day, they’ll put ONE on my covered front porch and then dump the rest by my back door like they couldn’t care less. Rain? Snow? Doesn’t matter — they leave everything out in the open to get destroyed. I’ve had items straight-up ruined because of this. It’s honestly embarrassing how little effort they put into doing their job. At this point, I’d rather UPS or FedEx handle every single package, because at least they know how to deliver without treating it like a chore.

Just went to the postal office recently and it was my first time, just to note. I’ve never sold anything before so i was nervous upon coming already. The lady at the front was so rude and genuinely i don’t know how she got this job. If you don’t like interacting with people, helping them, etc, Then you shouldn’t have chosen that job. That’s coming from someone that has had 3 customer service and retail jobs. Maybe she was having a bad day or something, I know sometimes i have those too when working with people, But i have never let it interfere with my attitude towards them or the tone in my voice when they have questions. On top of already seeming frustrated and hostile, A “how were you treated” question pops up in the end. Where i work we get those too and i have never answered for them, It’s a question for the customers, as its their own opinion and experience. As i’m about to answer she quickly clicks the “Great” button which is definitely not what i would have given her. I can see why they need it considering the amount of bad reviews they get on here. But forging/ faking it says a lot more about their behavior than mine. I’ll still be coming obviously, but i hope something changes
