The girl working behind the counter said, " I need to measure the box", I said, " The measurements are on the box..?" She said, "I need to make it a bit bigger". The box measurements were 9x6x4, she up-sized it to 10x7x5. I was confused, but thought whatever. I had been standing in line for 15 minutes up to this point, so I just wanted to be done and get out. When she said it was going to be 35 and some change, I was floored! I said what?? She just repeated the amount, and I was like Wow, and paid it- again just so I could get out of there. I went home and researched to see if this was a common practice, and I saw that the upsize was only about a dollar more, BUT I was charged for 3-day delivery. I could have had it sent ground for 15, but that option was never offered to me. Next time, I am making the drive to the post office. I could have mailed it, had it there in 3 days, and it would have cost less than 20 dollars.
