- AGAmy GeeJul 3, 20231.0I went to the post office in Mt. Horeb to update my address. I had requested an address change at my previous post office. I received a letter saying I had to go in to the post office for some new way it has to be done. The woman working had no clue what I was talking about. Said the address is updated in the system so I don't need the form I was asking about. 2 days later I got the same letter reminding me. I finally had it fixed. Today I went to my apartment buildings mail boxes. The woman was filling them so I asked for mine. Said she'd need an ID, etc. No problem I said, I can wait. No biggie. Stepped back in the neighborhood of 8 feet from the boxes to wait. She gave a very dirty look and said it's going to be a while in a very annoyed voice. I said that's fine. I can wait. She gave me another dirty look and told me I needed to get back as if I were about to assault her. I literally had only my mailbox key which she could plainly see. I was well behind her. Extremely poor customer service with the only 2 employees I have interacted with. I had not threatened her in any way and she still made it appear as though I were a criminal about to attack. Absolutely ridiculous and the worst customer service I have ever seen in any post office in any location ever in my life. I'd give it a zero if it were an option.
