- TSTaylor SampsonApr 26, 20231.0They were literally holding a package hostage and not following policy. The package arrived there on 4/3. The package was shipped with the wrong postage by mistake, so extra money was due. They wanted the recipient to pick it up to pay the extra $9.05. (Also does it really cost $14 total to ship something that weighs 1 lb 4 oz and is in a 12x4x4 box). SO the recipient put in a return to sender request on 4/6. I kept contacting them because they were blatantly ignoring the request. On 4/24 I was told “Current postal policy, is before a package can be returned, the 15 day policy must occur unless customer states that they want to refuse the parcel, at that time the parcels will be returned before the 15 days occur.”. They claimed that the customer never stated they didn’t want the parcel despite the return to sender request. That is also more than 15 days and it even said online to be returned to sender on 4/18. This just seemed super fraudulent and almost like they were intentionally holding the package to get the extra money.
