They canceled his ability to receive mail for not grabbing his mail for a week. When he received the notice he followed their guidelines to receive mail again and had no mail for the week which seemed off. Go to find out they discarded his mail and he did not receive vital bills because they discontinued his service. Must have tossed them. They are not following the rules set to discontinue a service address. Very disappointing for the postal service not doing their job. That’s what you are here for is to deliver mail. I have had numerous issues with them in the last decade and they should be supervised on how they run their duties.

We did not get mail on a Saturday and we checked the mailbox Sunday morning (box empty). Opened up the windows to check on the weather Sunday afternoon and found our mail and the neighbors laying in the corner (was not there earlier Sunday morning) in the pouring rain. Many times when this sub is on we will get our mail out of the mailbox when it's delivered and then at 4:30 AM the next morning we have more mail in our mailbox. Maybe it's being delivered to the wrong mailbox but it only happens when the sub is delivering.

Maybe this is not the worst post office in the US but it will do until a worse one is found. How do I loathe this post office. Let me count the ways: 1. Management is cold and nasty (I must say that the regular clerks and carriers are very nice) 2. Closes at very inconvenient times each day 3. Will not delivery mail a) if it is raining, b) if it is snowing, c) if they don't feel like it. 4.this post office totally IGNORES all postal rules about package deliveries. Example: our OVERNIGHT GUARANTEED BY 10:30 AM Express Mail package was delivered FOUR DAYS LATER. I called the Lodi Postmaster and she thought this was totally acceptable and hung up on me. 5.The list is too long to continue. You get the point.
