I was only in this post office once looking to open a PO Box, and the postmaster Michelle changed my mind instantly. She was not only hostile, but was talking down at me as if I was a child as if I had never rented a P.O. Box. Newsflash, I haven’t and was simply inquiring on the process, however, she ultimately changed my mind after my interaction with her. I’ve never experienced this at a post office as I am there often for work errands, and even the Madison, WI. clerks who have 5x the amount of customers are a million times nicer than her. I would suggest that she take some form of Customer service training course to correct this behavior as it seems she cannot answer a simple question without being incredibly rude.

So besides being open a few hours a day I have to take off of work to get my mail because Jefferson county Wisconsin hwy department hits my mailbox every snow fall. My mailbox is actually further from the road than regulations fyi. The road widthhas been increased 2 times now and the ditch where my mailbox post is to go is literally straight up and down. The old batch of workers can't understand like I do that there is no reason the plow has to take my box down. New batch lady says I am suose to go get a 5 gallon bucket and mount my mailbox in that from home depot. Shut me down and was so rude because she is assuming a situation instead of boots on the ground. Now my post office is rude and I can't receive mail during the winter. Think about that

Postmaster Michelle should not be employed in any public service. Won't let my employee leave his own house to get to work. Absolutely ridiculous when half of the drive of the post office used isn't their own property. It's owned by the father of my friend yet they use his property without any repercussions. Very unprofessional behavior for a government ran building.

Horrible experience here. Postmaster asked for my ID, I gave it to her and she literally threw it back at me saying “I can’t use this!” We changed our residency to Florida and my drivers license is Florida issued. Funny thing is she knows who I am because I’m there frequently. Now she has an expensive package at the post office, gave us notice to pick it up, but instructed the young man behind the counter to not give it to us without explanation. We’re being forced to pick it up on Saturday between 08:00 and 09:30. Horrible experience nearly everyone I go there.

2nd worst service I ever received by the USPS. The customer service rep working in the building was extremely rude and disrespectful.
