- VGVeronica Glen6 days ago1.0Packages are always delivered several days after the date they say they will be. And there is always an excuse as to why it isnt them. When you go in to pick up packages bc its too inconvenient for them to manage they are rude and they dont give you all of them. Leaving you to have to return again. Beware and open the package to make sure you get all of them. Staff is extremely rude when you go in. I understand im apparently at the end of the route so this means I get shafted 90% of the time when they decide they are finished for the day, when the mail is delivered or not.
- JSJD SmithDec 4, 20251.0Not a great location for postal services. I understand that the amount of mail and packages that comes into this location is way more than they can handle. It's apparent as any time you visit this location, packages are stacked everywhere and employees make it clear that you are being an annoyance. I can be understanding and kind about the situation but the continued rude and unhelpful behavior of the staff is something they CHOOSE to do. Apparently the Local Postmaster prefers to run this location in this manner. I have tried to track my mail numerous times that is not getting delivered to my home. I tried to get a PO box but none are available so I have to settle for the regular delivery. There is no problem with me getting tons of junk mail and mail for people who do not live at my address, but my bills, bank statements, etc. never seems to make it. All the postal work at the front desk will say is " is what it is and nothing can be done about it". I've asked to speak to supervisors, etc. but am denied. I get it. Do not use the Eagle River post office. Message received from your employees is loud and clear.

When I arrived there were unorganized packages everywhere behind the counter, after waiting about 15 minutes I was informed that they did not know where my packages where (within the back room - it was confirmed they were there) and that they would call me once located. The lady behind the counter did not care and acted like I was an inconvenience. I tried to show the tracking information which showed the packages were there at the branch and ready for pick up which she wouldn't take the time to look at. I was instructed to leave my phone number. That was on 7/5/25 and as of 8/2/25 they still have not been located and no communication. I am not one to leave poor reviews, typically only positive but the experience I had at this branch was very frustrating.
