Wonderful people. I'm crippled and they go the extra mile to serve me and my neighbor, also handicapped. Nicest, kindest people you could hope to meet. This is a good place to live because of them.

If I could do half a star I would.. went here after my birthday package went missing. We had called and put in a service request that was never responded to. The tracking said it was in Superior, Superior said it was in Danbury. Once I arrived to Danbury post office to attempt to locate my package I was immediately shocked at the level of disdain and pure attitude I received after vocalizing that I was looking for a missing package. Old Blonde lady addresses me. Rude would be an understatement I was in disbelief at the lack of general courtesy and customer service. (If you hate your job that much might be time for a change of venue.) I’m sure I had a disbelief look on my face which the other lady noticed and immediately became quite unpleasant as well. I was harangued for not knowing exactly what first class mail consisted of “you don’t even know what first class mail is”. And when trying to get solutions as to avoid this issue in the future the tone continued. Very abrasive and contentious for just about no reason at all. Seemed they were more interested in trying to argue with me rather than locate a package that was literally the only one on the rack where it came from. No tracking updates, no returned calls, no heads up “hey we have your package here”. On top of all that it’s almost inexcusable to treat customers so rudely. I really hope someone who can address this sees it because it’s really not good and shouldn’t be acceptable especially from 2 old lady’s that should probably know how to act.

As of March 2026 this has not gotten any better, still won't deliver packages even thought they are paid too by Amazon and the customer service is terrible. It now the USPP - United States Postal Pick-Up not the United States Postal Service as they provide no service. Go to another area post office as they are not as bad, but not great. Ordinally a year or so ago I wrote: the worst experience I have had with USPS ever. They get paid to delivery packages from Amazon, but can't seem to figure it out. USPS, no wonder they struggle. Cheers to FedEx & UPS!!!!!

Tracking my package, it shows was received 7:00AM in Danbury on March 16, 2023. The status now on March 20th is that it is moving to another USPS location. I live in Danbury and I actually got another package on March 17 so now after an hour I am on hold to talk to an agent about what is going on. Danbury doesn't list their number so I can't call them.
