- RURick U.6 days ago1.0Absolute most miserable experience. It seems no matter what I ship or receive, there is usually some issue with delivery. On Feb 20, 2026 I reluctantly shipped a high-dollar electronic item using the Blanchardville Post Office. Replacement cost would be around $4000. Value of item is $2700. I went wint $27000 insurance coverage. Boy I'm glad I did/. Right from the get-go, the package entered the Post Office abyss. It simply disappeared and the tracking showed no update and simply stated "Arriving late". Not one scan! After calling both Blanchardville and New Glarus for help. I got anything but he;lp. Pretty worthless customer service. They had no clue and were unable to escalate this to a higher office. They could not provide a number to call. I filed a claim at the US Post office web site. Now that is at a crawl. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE US POST OFFICE. I should have known better thank to do business with such a horrible government agency. Complete joke.

Overall, this is a nice place. I agree that the hours of operation are odd if your use to a bigger city post office.
