- DLDavid Lee4 days ago1.0"Hill Billy post office." You can only drop off packages for shipment during desk hours. 9-6 on non-holiday weekdays, and 9:30 to 12:30 on Saturday. Sunday closed - doors locked so you cannot get inside for anything - like the post office box you paid for! No method of dropping off prepaid and prelabeled packages unless you wait in line to see a clerk. How 18th century! This critique applies to over a dozen post offices in the Beloit, WI and Rockford, IL areas. Clerks will treat you rude unless you are a local and bring them "bribes" such as pastries, coffee? Your taxpayer funds being flaunted in your face. As an experiment, I went to 7 different businesses along Broad Street in Beloit asking if they use the USPS for package delivery. Not a one did. The reasons centered around incompetent postal workers and government sloth.

If they dont want to deliver give the job to someone who can. Im going to keep talking badly about them until things change and im reducing the amount I order again.
- NHNicoy HelmJan 15, 20261.0This is by far the worst post office experience I have had in my 46 years. On one visit, I was told my envelope had a small tear and needed to be taped. The clerk had tape readily available at the counter but refused to allow me to use it, offering no reasonable explanation. After avoiding this location for several months due to that experience, I returned to drop off a package and was again met with poor service. The clerk refused to scan my QR code and insisted I print it instead, without providing a valid reason. This was the second negative experience in a row. I strongly believe this location would benefit from new staff who bring a more customer-focused, professional approach to the role. The three old miserable white front-desk staff members consistently demonstrate poor customer service, and it would be beneficial to give some young motivated individuals an opportunity to improve the customer experience.
- VDVa daJan 1, 20261.0your carrier on 1300 block of 10th Street on 12/31/25 had tore off a sign on my HOUSE which they aren't allowed to touch because it's not on the box itself. i have signs on 2 spots on mailbox stating ONLY then the names of mail for actual residents of house (mind you they are 2 short names, not like i put 10 different names to wade through) as instructed by usps and my previous carrier before he left the route 4 years ago. still receive wrong mail after talking several times to carriers. then this other person not original to my route ripped my sign saying ONLY because the first 2 didn't clearly work. you can't touch my house!!! I'm calling corporate offices
