Trying to deal with the Post Office in Centuria because apparently when you drop a package off now, it doesn’t go out until the next day, the reason we can’t have regular mailboxes like everyone else instead of being forced to have a post office box and a post office with the most ridiculous hours I’ve ever seen is insanity. I had to drop off a package the other day and I’m told that now they don’t go out that day, they get driven to Balsam Lake and go out the next day. Am I getting a discount done since you guys can’t seem to do things on time? do you think I could get somebody on the phone to ask a question to? Of course not. It’s insane to me that my service can be delayed by a day, which is really damaging to my business, but I’m expected to pay the same price as everyone else who gets their packages shipped out the day they bring them in. I understand that the post office is struggling and maybe if the federal government would quit stealing from it or all the people that are selling things on eBay would stop stealing priority boxes and turning them inside out to mail their stuff in we wouldn’t have this big of a problem but bottom line Is I am tired of not being afforded the same postal services as everyone else because I live in this tiny little town and I can’t even get a mailbox, I’m forced to have a PO Box and a post office that isn’t even open for six full hours a day. How are we supposed to get our packages when we have to work? If I can’t be back to town by 3 PM I don’t get my stuff and that’s ridiculous. Enough enough give the people in Centuria some mailboxes already but instead of giving us mailboxes like normal people, you’ve decided to delay our services even more. I am a fan of The Postal Service, but I am getting really tired of being treated like less than all the other customers because of this little tiny town we live in. What’s the point of the post office being open less than six hours a day and only an hour on Saturdays? That’s ridiculous, get the place staffed and start acting like the rest of the Post Office is or better yet, give us a mailbox like everyone else has.
