- TPTrina PackardJul 18, 20255.0It saddens me to read some of the negative reviews. There is a reason why the famous idiom "going postal" exists. It's not an easy job. In addition to the long hours and physically demanding tasks (such as dealing with all the Amazon packages that UPS delivers), they are not obligated to be extra fake nice, as if they are trying to solicit tips. Some folks may need to lower expectations; it's not a restaurant. However, my experience has been excellent at this location. The staff are personable and helpful. Growing up in the city, you go to a post office and they won't know you; they won't call you by name. You can go to the grocery store several times a week and never see anyone you know or anyone who knows you. It is nice to walk in and know folks who also know me. I would like to express my appreciation to the staff of our Local Westport Post Office, who work diligently to provide a vital service in a truly thankless job.
