This location is a good to for most people in town. I have posted a picture of the lobby hour change that took place almost 2 yrs ago but I find it helpful for hours.

Every experience I've had here has been good. The staff have treated me with kindness and patience. I present to you these 3 examples: 1. The first time I went to the deaf woman's counter and failed to read the very visible and decently sized sign. I bet she has to point to that sign all day because jerks like me don't see it, even though its right there. 2. Another time, I was told an urgent thing wouldn't get there as soon as the website estimated (keyword being "estimate"). I was mentally stuck stressing about what to do, but it was not their fault. I was gently reminded I was holding up the line and you know what? I did need to be told that, it snapped me out of it. Apologies to everyone behind me for contributing to slower service that day. 3. Then there was the time I had to call my elderly father who had given me the wrong address for USPS delivery to a remote rural residence. The woman at the counter was patient with me not having correct info TWICE. She was clever and able to solve the mystery as to why the second "corrected" address didn't work either, due to the zip being off by one number. She also was able to help someone else while I made that phone call, so I did not hold up the line that time. 😅 And on top of everything, I know this specific location has been having problems with Amazon deliveries being put in the wrong bin or something like that. It seems like an extra thing they shouldn't have to deal with since Amazon does it's own shipping, but I guess some packages have to be left there for pickup and the postal workers have to move many packages from the wrong bin every day. I mention it here to acknowledge that USPS is doing extra labor and picking up some slack for the convenience of Amazon delivery but doesn't get any credit for it. Imagine how much it slows things down on a daily basis and it only makes Amazon look better, not USPS. I wish people had more patience for underfunded federal workers. When mistakes are made, first consider having empathy that they are human beings who are routinely overworked and understaffed. Consider that USPS is not a for-profit business but a social service, and these social services get budget cuts every year while, like clockwork, DOD gets more... I'm just saying.
