  I needed a notary today, which is Sunday. I figured it would be hard to find but the internet says that this UPS store offers notary service during all business hours. Still skeptical, I called the store's number where the recording says: "...we ALWAYS have MULTIPLE NOTARIES available during business hours." I figured that was sufficient evidence that they would have a notary. I was wrong. I arrived to the store and was told they do not have notaries on weekends and in fact only have a notary after 1pm on weekdays, and that one should call to check before coming in. That's fine, but if so, CHANGE YOUR VOICE MESSAGE that everyone hears when calling in so that it doesn't lead to people like me completely wasting our time. Edited to add: The employee I spoke to was professional and helpful, so no blame to them

  All you have to do is look at the reviews over the last year. The majority are one star and that’s probably being generous. I’ve been coming to the store for over five years and the previous owner was fantastic and courteous as were his employees. The new owner is resentful and has passed that entitlement down to their employees. They do not even accept USPS boxes to courtesy ship as every other store in town does. This is absolutely crazy. The employee told me that today. I didn’t get her name because she refused to give it to me which should be cause for termination in itself. She was a heavyset Latino/black woman. I expressed my frustration over not taking USPS calmly and politely. She literally tossed my package to the side and told me to move out of the way she was going to help the next person. I had paid for a label to fix onto the box which came in a plastic enclosure. She had passively aggressively, slapped it on my box upside down and crookedly. The envelope should have been sealed up so the packing slip address would not fall out. She refused to do that. She was blatantly ignoring me, pretending I wasn’t there. I reached for the packing tape and pulled off a 4 inch piece to seal it as she should have. She raised her voice and literally started yelling at me. She physically grabbed the small piece of tape I had torn off and snatched it out of my hands. That’s when I asked her for her name and she immediately snatched her name tag off so that I couldn’t keep her accountable for her actions. This place is literally the worst store in all of the greater Olympia area. With enough bad reviews hopefully people will stop going there, and they will go out of business as they deserve. If I had an employee act like that in my business, they would be fired before the end of the day. Shame on you and your crap business.
