This post office location has been illegally withholding our mail and has made no meaningful effort to resolve the situation. Our assigned mail carrier has outright refused to deliver our mail and displays an exceptionally poor attitude and lack of basic customer service—far worse than anything we have experienced with USPS elsewhere. The carrier openly admitted to “holding our mail,” yet no notice, or official communication was ever provided. Despite repeated attempts to address this issue, management at this location has failed to intervene or offer a solution. Instead of correcting the problem or assigning a different carrier, they continue to protect an unprofessional and disrespectful employee. We have effectively been denied normal mail service, and management has made it clear that requesting a different carrier is not an option. Their only proposed solution was for us to pay out of pocket for a P.O. Box, solely because the carrier refuses to deliver to our address. This is an unacceptable abuse of authority and a failure of basic USPS service obligations. Withholding mail and forcing customers to pay extra for access to their own mail is not only unethical but potentially unlawful. This location urgently needs accountability, improved management oversight, and staff who understand and respect their responsibility to the public.

I went here for the very first time to mail off my tax paperwork to the IRS as well as to the State of Oregon. I paid extra so my paperwork could get to the IRS in time because my previous employer Subway from Oregon State refused to give me my tax information. As a result I had to file for an extension. I've gotten my taxes done with H&R Block for 22 years so I didn't really know how to do my own taxes, however, this year I used the "Free" version of the H&R block app to do my own taxes. My paperwork has to be in to the IRS by yesterday. I paid for next day delivery so with me mailing everything on this last Friday early in the morning, my paperwork should have gotten there on this Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Oregon State got my tax documents but the ones I sent to the IRS still show as not being delivered and are "delayed" by USPS. What is the point in paying extra for overnight delivery if they still deliver it late?? Needless to say it's past the extension deadline and USPS has delayed my tax documents. Also I had explained that I never mail anything and asked the clerk about certified mail. He did not tell me that I had to ask for the "return receipt" service that requires the receiver to sign. I am able to view the status of my mail online though using the certified mail receipts. I also purchased a book of stamps.
