  I was visiting Tacoma and needed to ship several items to Texas that had belonged to my mother. I was initially quoted around $150 to have the store pack a few low-value items, which seemed excessive. Instead, I purchased a box and packed everything myself in the store using packing materials I had brought with me. The clerk weighed the package at 6 lbs and charged me $67 for UPS Ground, plus the cost of the box. It still seemed high, but I was rushing to catch a flight and didn’t have time to question it further, so I paid. Before sealing the package, the clerk mentioned that the box looked larger than necessary and said he would take care of it. When the shipment arrived in Texas, I saw that the box had been reduced to roughly half its original size (from 15 x 15 x 15). Out of curiosity, I checked UPS.com and found that UPS Ground shipping between the same addresses was quoted at $34 — about half of what I was charged. I understand that franchise locations may set their own pricing. However, charging based on a larger box size and then reducing the package dimensions, while also charging nearly double the published retail rate, feels misleading and unprofessional. I strongly recommend comparing rates and asking detailed questions before using this location.

  They're closed on Sundays; they have a sign at the entrance that says they're closed that day. I don't understand why Google shows that they're open that day.

  Very friendly and quick service. Went in to send a fax. I was helped immediately. Employee was very friendly and quick. The only issue I had was I think $1.69 per page was a little over priced.

  Trash location that loses packages, won't pick up the phone, and has a full voice mailbox. No call back procedures whatsoever forcing you to go in person to fix their screw ups. HOT GARBAGE!!!!
