More government incompetence. You can't print off a label? Seriously? If I buy another one, you'll print if off. Give me a break.

Awful service and the woman doing the passport service was rude and dismissive. I came in and saw a room marked "passports" no other signage. So I went in there and was yelled at for it. When she FINALLY got to me, she didn't even ask me if my old passport was eligible for renewal. She gave me papers and very rudely sent me on my way. I went to the Veradale location (same day) and it was a whole 180 from the experience here. They were friendly and efficient, and got my application filled out and filed in less than 20 minutes! All and all, dont go to the Helena location. They are just horrible.

I wish I could give zero stars. I came to this location for fingerprinting services, which I understood were only offered between 9am and 2pm. I arrived at 12:30pm to find that the only person that was capable of taking fingerprints was at lunch and would be back at 1pm... The two other people, who were doing mostly nothing, were apparently incapable of taking electronic fingerprints on a glorified iPad. The person at lunch arrived closer to 1:20pm, and then took a whole 10 seconds to take my fingerprints and tell me that they are "bad" and would not be accepted by the background check agency, and recommended I go to a Mailboxes Etc. location for inked fingerprinting vs. electronic. The Mailboxes Etc. ONLY does electronic fingerprinting, and they took time to take my fingerprints methodically, which were of course accepted by the background check agency. This USPS location is a perfect example of Federal Government slobbery. If you don't want to do your job and take fingerprints, please don't advertise that you do it and waste my time.

I chose to submit my passport application here because they had the soonest available appointment in Spokane. I felt that the woman who helped me was unnecessarily apathetic and rude. I was the only customer when I walked. I greeted the front desk and told them I was here for my appointment. I then turned to walk towards the passport room, when the woman shrilly told me to stop and take a seat in the main lobby -like I was a toddler. I took a seat and 5 awkward minutes elapsed before she called me back up to check in - It reminded me of that airport scene from "Meet the Parents". Couldn't she have just asked me to take a seat when I first arrived? She knew I was on a tight schedule yet didn't' tell me that I could pay an extra fee to expedite the shipping of the passport back to me. Thankfully, I had researched this beforehand and brought it up myself. She knew exactly what I was talking about and how much it cost. Maybe they aren't allowed to suggest these add-ons, but my impression is that she couldn't be bothered. Otherwise, the process went smoothly and my passport arrived before I left for my trip. With just a *little* more kindness and consideration, this would have been a 5 star review.
