- SSSally Sanchez6 days ago1.0I generally like USPS very much. This one star review is specifically for the Sunset Hill location in Spokane, WA. I had a package delivered that was placed in the package box at my community mail boxes. It was in the box for 3+ days so a slip was left saying it was taken back to the PO. The area on the slip where one could request redelivery was crossed out and it was hand written to pick up at the PO. The QR code on the slip that takes you to the USPS website where you can request redelivery noted that it was not available. The post office hours are the same business hours that I work (that particular office has no weekend hours) and is 40 min away from my work as well so it was 2 weeks before I had a change to go to the PO. Once there I was curtly informed that after that amount of time it was of course sent back to the company. So there was one delivery attempt, no option for re-delivery, and no communication that if it was not picked up in a certain time frame it would be sent back to company. Not sure if this is USPS policy or just this particular location. I understand that I have responsibility to pick up packages in a timely manner and easily own that, but feel at least there could have been communication about a time frame that the package needed to be picked up in. And I would have really appreciated a re-delivery option.
