However, upon my return, another staff member informed me that my QR code was invalid, merely showing me the screen without further explanation. When I checked my phone, I discovered that my package was already in transit! (Impossible, since I was still holding said package) Seeking assistance, I was told that they could not help me and that I would need to contact the company from which I made my purchases to obtain a new QR code. When I requested to speak with a manager, John informed me that the location was just franchise and is not a direct UPS store, advising me to direct my concerns to the company I purchased from. He did not offer any further assistance, even though they had scanned my QR code prematurely and took no responsibility for the canceled QR code on their end. I must express my disappointment with the level of customer service I received. Even if operated as a franchise, I believe that stores representing the UPS name should uphold the standard of service expected from the brand. I will be filing a formal complaint with UPS regarding this experience.
