I genuinely dread anytime I have to interact with this location because problems are so common. Packages are frequently marked as “refused,” “available for pickup,” or “delivery attempted” when no delivery was actually attempted. Items are sometimes sent back the same day, leaving no realistic opportunity to resolve the issue. Customer service is extremely difficult to access — phone calls often go unanswered, and voicemails are rarely returned. When mistakes happen, there is little accountability or effort to correct them, even when the error is clearly on USPS’s end. The issues have been ongoing for years, to the point that we pay for a PO Box in McKenna specifically to avoid dealing with this post office as much as possible. In contrast, the McKenna post office staff are always pleasant and consistently go above and beyond to help. The difference in service between the two locations is stark. I understand seasonal volume and staffing challenges, but this is not an occasional holiday issue — it’s a long-term pattern. Reliable delivery and accurate tracking are basic expectations, and unfortunately this location consistently falls short.

When I go to pick my package up at the post office the lady with short hair was rude as hell. She refused to check the back room and insisted she would have KNOWN if it was back there. The next day I get another notification saying they tried delivering it again and couldn't so its back at the post office......I am so glad this isn't my normal post office.
