I ran over to the UPS store simply because it was the closest print shop to the job site and it turned out to be a great experience. This happened to me today, but I've previously witnessed the same clerk telling other customers that if their store received an item, then it was processed by them. First of all, this is an impossible claim for any human to make, because we all occasionally make mistakes, and the fact that I heard her make this exact same claim to two other customers before on two separate occasions demonstrates this wasn't an isolated incident. She also refused to look up the Amazon reference number for my unprocessed return from my drop-off receipt, claiming it's only an Amazon tracking number, and so there would have been no UPS tracking number associated with my returned item. I thanked her for that clarification, but despite my having displayed no impatience toward her, she proceeded to chide me loudly as I walked toward the door, so everyone in the store could hear her, that I should be more patient at this time of year because everyone is busy. When I spoke to an Amazon customer service agent just now, she said she needed a UPS tracking number, but that absent that she would manually process my refund for me. Gee, I guess UPS Stores combine Amazon returns into packages that are then sent to Amazon with UPS shipping labels on them. What a surprise! You should avoid this store.
