- MTM TApr 13, 20241.0I went last night to ship a small package. I always use the UPS store but figured I’d save my company some money and maybe start a new shipping method. I walked in with a small package and a large middle age man in crutches with weeks of food stains on his shirt said why doesn’t anyone get in line? I said there was nobody here and where is the line? He pointed to a counter. I asked should I walk around that? He then asked what I wanted and I said to ship a package. He said he can’t because there is no address. I said sorry, I have it typed out and I’m use to the UPS store. He said he can’t take it and i asked if he had a label. He said no so I said I guess I’m at the wrong place. I then asked if I could tape the address to the box and he reluctantly gave me tape. When I left I said thank you without a word in return. That’s my last visit.

I am grateful that I have a local post office. I am grateful for our mail carriers who have always been nice to me.
