  I'm really upset about the experience I just had. I came into the post office because I have certified mail that needed a receipt so that I could show the court. This is very serious. I went in to get the certified mail and the guy didn't ask me. He just assumed. When somebody comes in they don't know. I don't know the ins and outs of the post office. This is his job to ask. Do you want this or do you want that. So now I paid $6 for him to say. Oh well you'll see it when they sign for it. Yeah except I feel like I shouldn't have to divulge my entire situation in order for him to do his job properly. So now I have to pay $13 and do this all over again but it's Friday so I have to wait extra days while somebody harasses me because they couldn't ask. Are you sure you want a receipt or not? But he got frustrated with me because I didn't understand how to do it and I was filling something out that I didn't need to fill out. That should have been evidence enough that I didn't know what I was doing. I get so frustrated with people who have customer service positions and then do the opposite. I rarely leave bad reviews on here. But this is seriously messed up. So yay. The court doesn't accept. You're going to see it when she signs for it. That's the whole problem is that she's probably not going to if she sees it coming.

  My family moved to a new residence and were instructed to pick up mail at the post office until the cluster box is ready for delivery. However, mail pickup at this location has been inconsistent, as has the guidance on how to expedite delivery to the cluster box. It took six months for an employee at this post office to inform us that our address was not in their scheme book and that we needed to contact Pierce County. It’s unclear why this wasn’t communicated to us from the beginning by the very people who work at this post office and should know to communicate to their customers how to resolve the matter of new addresses in a timely fashion, and not after 6 months have already transpired. It felt like we were given the runaround throughout the entire process, even being told the mail was perhaps being returned to sender or to rent a PO Box and pay an extra monthly fee. You, as USPS employees, are not doing your jobs to remedy the issue. Why should anyone have to pay extra for that? This is not acceptable as it is a verified address recorded with the county. We still don’t know if the issue has been completely resolved. As a result of these issues, we received important mail late, including bills and a new driver’s license. PLEASE RE-TRAIN STAFF AND DO BETTER, particularly when it comes to new home addresses in developing areas. This shouldn't be difficult and should be a straightforward process for new residents.

  The self serve kiosk is not open 24/7 as stated. Tried to mail a package at 3:20 pm on a Sunday, and a worker was there locking the doors who told me the kiosks aren't even supposed to be open on Sundays.
