This is the worst post office ever and they always have the worst customer service. Not helpful at all and never help resolve any problems.

There was an issue with a package that caused me to need to come in to this location today. I was told by a USPS person on the phone, who was extremely kind and helpful, to come here to get it. At this location specifically, when I was telling them I had a package for pickup, the guy was extremely rude. He kept asking who told me to come in and when I said a person on the phone did, he kept trying to ask who it was. I wasn't sure and just said it was a person who called me. He wouldn't go back to check for it until multiple times of trying to explain the same thing. I can understand if he was just confused, but it didn’t appear that way as he was very rude during the entire interaction.

I was there to drop off 3 preposted packages. I normally mail my eBay packages from the USPS Milton branch where I also have my PO box. I dropped my 3 packages in the drop box at about 3:30pm. I have to mention that the previous night I went somewhat out of my way to mail these same packages at the Pine St distribution center and their drop box was jammed. This is because the Milton branch only has small drop box doors which is frustrating and has been inconvenient at times. Back to Puyallup...I usually check my tracking info every night to verify that all my packages were scanned in and in transit. Last night none 3 packages were scanned in at that time. Today however 2 of the 3 showed scanned in at Milton, which may be because my return address is a Milton PO box. Either way 1 package is missing as far as I'm concerned. It's very important that my tracking is uploaded on time and that my package is scanned in on time for my eBay sellers status since I'm not a high volume seller, 1 or 2 late shipments can have a noticeable effect. The Milton branch has a pick up time of 5:30 and everyday all my packages are usually scanned in no later than 5:30, everytime in three years of doing business there. So the drop box door size is probably a tolerable trade off after reading the other reviews for here and a couple other PO's and along with my experiences at a couple different local PO's I should be grateful for the consistent, reliable, honest, friendly, and helpful service that I have been receiving for the last 3 years at the USPS Milton branch. I can't understand the extreme differences consistency of quality of service between branches. It's not rocket science, it's been the same program for many years you think that it would be polished and fine tuned to at least be average, but most of all be consistent with scanning in for tracking and postmarking. I shouldn't have to stand in line to only have my packages scanned in because I can't trust that my packages might be "lost" especially if I utilize pre labeled postage, which lightens the load at the service counter. I'll update this with my end results.
