- ACAllan ChanMar 23, 20225.0Trying to find a cheaper way to ship packages to places like France, Hungary, Russia, Peru, Croatia, Mexico etc.. out of Canada so I ventured over to this Point Roberts USPS location. Wasn’t very busy at that time of day when I arrived, just 1 person ahead of me and no one behind me. When I got to the counter I started asking the clerk all these shipping questions that I had written down, pretty much bombarded her with question after question. She answered them all very pleasantly and professionally, never showing any attitude or rushing me at any time. Suggested to me which shipping services to use to guarantee that my parcel would be received per her experiences. After about 15 minutes of thorough answers/explanations, I thanked her for her time and patience with me and she then suggested that I open up a US Mailbox there and the benefits that comes with opening one with them. I was pressed for time but had promised I would return to do so. She gave me her business card and told me if I had any other questions regarding shipping or needing help opening up a mailbox or going on to the USPS website or filling in customs form to email her or even call her. She was amazing, to say the least. She went above and beyond what she needed to do to have me satisfied. I just want to give her the recognition she deserves. Her name is Leanne Gerber, the Postmaster at this location. Thank you once again Leanne for all your patience and assistance in helping me with all my inquiries.
