Unfortunately this post office has a somewhat hostile and negative atmosphere. The postmaster conveys through her attitude and public interaction to not to like her job very much. She seems very primed for confrontation with a hair trigger threshold to release vitriol. Perhaps she and others employed by the USPS either directly or through contract agreements (mail carriers) should seek other employment if they dislike their jobs so much. It’s a customer service based profession, there’s no excuse not to act professional, polite and courteous to customers. Sure at times you will encounter rude, aggressive and impolite people, use conflict deescalation techniques or law enforcement in extreme cases. What I have seen and unfortunately been subjected are angry, bitter, and condescending responses to legitimate questions or issues that need to be resolved. Issues created by this post office. The work will never change, but the attitudes and commitment to polite, respectful and professional customer service can improve.

Every time I have trouble with something, the employees at this post office are extremely helpful. They go out of their way to fix the problems. I've never had this experience with any other post office in my life. Thank you for being so wonderful!

FED UP with this postal service, I’m a homeowner with a physical address and spend my time HEAVILY down here during the summer, and they refuse to deliver my packages because of not having a mailbox. This is the first year (2025) that I have had ANY issues and it’s making me CRAZY! They are packages from Amazon, which come in packaging materials, there should be NO reason for an undeliverable product when the packages I am SUPPOSED to be receiving can simply be dropping off at my DOOR STEP! I WONT BE UTILIZING THIS LOCATION

Horrible excuse for a post office. I live in an apartment here, and not only do they not deliver your package if it won’t fit in the mailbox; they scan packages as “out for delivery” when they haven’t even received them yet. Just called about that exact situation and the lady goes “is this Amazon? Oh, yeah, sometimes we scan those packages in before they even arrive” If you can avoid it, don’t do business here. Kinda sucks that the only 2 shipping places in ocean shores have awful service; I mainly do my business in Aberdeen at this point.

We have had our post office box in this facility for approximately 15 years. For the past 4 years we have been getting mail from other people in our box. I have spoken to management asking them to pay attention to the names and the post office box on the mail that's going to my box which is incorrect. They said they would put our last name over the box so that people wouldn't put mail in without it being in our name and they still continue to put other people's mail in our box. First Security Bank what's the latest 2 days ago. This is the second time for two different people were getting their business checking account documents sent to our post office box. I am at a loss as to why with our names posted over our box these people can't seem to put just our mail in our box not other people's mail especially sensitive mail from banks credit card companies I'm going to try to get a hold of the Postmaster General and file a legal complaint talking to them to resolve it has been in vain
