I must express my growing disappointment with the mail carrier service at this post office. For nearly a year, I had no issues receiving my mail. However, for the past month, mail delivery to my residence has abruptly stopped. I was later informed that the reason was an alleged dog bite incident involving a carrier. This claim is entirely inaccurate. While I do have dogs, the only one present at the time was a small, blind and deaf pug who posed no threat. In fact, on the specific day the substitute carrier reported a problem, my daughter and I were outside, and the carrier handed the mail directly to me without any issue. More importantly, none of our dogs were even home at the time—they were at a grooming appointment in Puyallup. I was not notified of the delivery suspension until nearly two weeks later, when I visited the post office in person to inquire about the situation. I explained what had actually occurred, and the postal representative acknowledged that the incident had not been serious and that the carrier had not sought medical attention. I was told that I should have received a letter in my mailbox regarding the suspension, but to this day, I have received no such notice. As a result, I’ve had to rely on the Informed Delivery app or physically visit the post office daily just to retrieve my mail—an unreasonable and inconvenient solution to a situation that was never properly communicated or justified.

I am not sure what's going on, but I do know that this little Post office needs some serious help. The building is way to small to support the recent growth of the area. I know they are over worked and need more help. This little Post Office needs a lot, a lot of what exactly, I couldn't say. But what I do know is that in the last couple years the service has deteriorated. This last month has been straight awful. I feel sorry for the employees.
