I have been having terrible experiences the past two times I’ve been here these past months. First time was with the purple hair lady with black glasses. Based off the reviews, she clearly has a reputation. Was extremely rude and kept bending my envelope to check what was inside when it clearly said don’t bend. She tried to charge me around $9 to mail out just a magazine that had a card inside protected by cardboard, so I just used a different, more cost effective mail carrier. Second time I was mailing out business tax forms and I wanted to confirm that the postage was enough. The lady at the counter weighed my envelopes and put it through the measurement slot and verified that it was fine. Then two weeks later I get it mailed back to me saying both letters were short 49 cents, even though the employee confirmed it was fine. Due to their lack of protocols and inconsistent rules, I am now liable for a late fine Also majority of the times when I try to drop off packages in their bin, it’s always shut/full

This place is dirty and sad. And had one person working who had no sense of urgency. Another employee was wandering around at a turtle’s speed with no sense of purpose as well. No one stepped out to help. One woman took 20 mins and the person helping her did nothing to help her speed up. Not like hey fill out your address and forms to the side then come back to the line. Jesus no wonder the USPS is failing if this is what customer service looks like. When I finally was helped the woman was very quick and kind. But man.

Sad representation of the city of Mill Creek. Workers are overworked but rude. Short tempered. Go work at Shelton or Everett. Fits your attitude better.

Three of the last four times I have tried to use this post office, the self-service drop off door has been stuck shut. The website advertises 24/7 self service but in practice you'll have only a small chance of being able to use it. This is bad enough that I may have to switch mail carriers.

This is the last straw. I'm never going to a USPS again. I've used USPS all over the Eastside from Bellevue/Kirkland/Bothell/Mill Creek and usually I don't have a good experience. The people here aren't horrible - it was just the fact that I was next in line and the clerk told me I should have gone to the next clerk (when he stopped me and said the person who USED to be in front of me and gave her service) BUT when it was my turn he let the person behind me go and didn't care that I was next. He said, "It’s too late" instead of stopping the other person he stops me instead of letting me take my turn. So I had to wait ... for more than 20 minutes when I was 3rd in line. 20 minutes to drop off a flat rate envelope. Yes, I had to go back to write with pens that weren't working and write the address (I wanted to make sure I didn't need a label and fill it out correctly) but letting both the person in front AND behind me go was wrong. His judgment was incorrect and he didn't give me a choice. There's no way I'm putting up with that kind of favoritism against me. I'm going to use FedEx or a different mailing business from now on.
